Julian has a background working for and with some of the largest housing providers in the country, including Hyde Group, Places for People and South Yorkshire Housing Association. He has a good understanding of the social housing development process and the wider private and social housing market.
Julian has worked with a number of councils on their housing strategies, including Luton (Older Person’s Housing Strategy) Wolverhampton (extra care housing development feasibility studies) and Kirklees (business case development for supported living schemes for people with learning disabilities).
Julian has worked with a number of private landlords to develop supported housing and supported living options and has a good knowledge of the regulatory framework regarding housing and housing benefits.
